We had a great time for Blaze?s birthday party.? We played it simple and had hot dogs and chips, cake and ice cream and drinks.? I just got some balloons for decoration and also got water balloons, water pistols and a slip and slide for all the kids to play on.? Even a small party in my family is a big party though.? But that is all good.? It was a lot of fun and I made it through without a panic attack lol.? Only half kidding there by the way.? I found a local lady for the cake and cupcakes and am so happy I did.? Her place is called Southern Sweets and I found her on Facebook.? I loved the pics of the other cakes and such that she had done and sent her a message.? She had a great price and it was all worth it.? I did a small cake for Blaze because he said no pupcakes lol.? So he had his small cake and we had 3 dozen cupcakes also.? He had some nice gifts and a fun time.? He was so excited about his birthday this year.? All he asked for was blue and green cake and balloons and a blue dino pillow pet.? Pretty easy guy there.
But the biggest gift is the new family member we got.? His name is Bouzer and he is a 14 week old miniature schnauzer.? He is registered, crate trained, house trained, microchipped and super sweet.? We are totally in love with him.? We had to give Sydnee back because she had a taste for free range chickens but that left a hole here and Blaze was always asking about her and saying he wanted a dog and we have wanted one that will work for our family for a long time.? We haven?t had luck with adult dogs because of certain behaviors they were accustomed to already that we couldn?t change.? So, although we loved them we had to return them or find a home that was good for them.? We had been talking and realized we would have to have a puppy so we could bring it up with us and all we have here.? We also knew from a dog we had in the past we wanted a miniature schnauzer.? They are awesome with kids and they don?t shed and they aren?t huge either.? I was lucky that a girl I went to school with was looking for a home for Bouzer and that is where we got him.? Blaze loves him so much and calls him My Bouzer and we have fell for him hook, line and sinker.
