Growing My Kids Reviews: Book review: 3D Sports Blast!

It's a pretty common occurrence for me to meet my husband at the front door after work and and say "you've got to check out this cool thing that I got for review!".? Generally he humors me by checking it out and smiling and nodding, and that's about it.? That did not happen on Friday- when he saw 3D Sports Blast! by David E. Klutho, he was even more excited about it than I was!

My family is really enjoying this book. It's meant for ages 6 and up, but my son (who is 3 1/2) is definitely liking it a lot.? I keep finding him on the couch, flipping through the pages, talking to himself about all of the sports that he sees. And, as I already mentioned, my husband is loving it too! The photography is great and would be engaging even in 2D- in 3D, the pictures pop off the page and make you really feel like you're experiencing the sports alongside the athletes and spectators. There isn't a lot of text in the book, mostly just some short descriptions about the photos. I also liked the range of sports covered in the book- it's not just basketball, football and hockey, but also cycling and bull riding and track and field and hang gliding... and much more!
The glasses are included in this book and are nicely tucked into a little envelope inside the front cover, so you always have them right at hand when you're ready to read. 3D Sports Blast! is available now- if there's a young sports fan in your life, this would make a wonderful gift!
